This website is to give the UK a British perspective of what Miracasttm (Wi-Fi Display) wireless display is & what devices are available in the UK.

Consumers increasingly want to bring content from their mobile devices to the big screen TV.

Miracasttm (Wi-Fi Display) devices make use of a Wi-Fi connection to deliver audio and video content from one device to another, without cables or a connection to an existing Wi-Fi network. These devices connect directly, so you can do things like watch videos from a smartphone or tablet on a big screen television. Back at the end of May 2012, the WiFi Alliance announced a new WiFi Display certification program called Miracast tm (Wi-Fi Display). Making a standardization process for WiFi Display products to guarantee interoperability, it is a huge step forward to making adoption easy, to consolidating the growing number of WiFi Display-like standards.

2013 / 2014 should be a big year for Wireless display Miracast tm (WiFi-Display) with the biggest tech show of the year "CES" starting next week there should be lots of new devices with Miracast tm built in.
